Just picked up this "85 T3 from the original 63 year old owner! He took great care of the bike mechanically, and kept her well lubed!Just not much in the detailing department...Engine has never been apart and runs great, only thing a little loose on the whole machine is the front wheel bearings.Plans are to clean it really well, new tires and plastic for now.Down the road i'd like to refinish it and add some period correct mods.

Just ordered new fenders front/rear,PRM grab bar and an N.O.S Dunlop KT761 for the front so far!
Did you get the headlight with it?

Nope, guy couldn't remember where it went.I'm guessing its still in the tree with the front fender. When you replace the forks I would be interested in the lower legs from that set.

I was thinking the forks look bent in the picture and wouldnt be surprised based on the other visible damage.
Looks like intake boot was replaced with an aftermarket blue one.
Nice find

Pulled off the shot fenders today.Under all the grease and grime this bike is in very nice shape.A wipe down with some Simple Green and the paint is unreal, can't wait to get her cleaned and detailed.Wiring is perfect as well, nothing is rusty as it's been garaged since new.Intake boot was patched just to get her running and will be replaced.

That is a very nice low hour bike. John Swinehart on here will take care of you on a new intake boot. Congrats!

If it's never been apart pop the flywheel out and send it to Jeswinehart for encapsulating. It's far better than the alternative of having the magnets come loose and tear up the stator and possibly the case.
