Rebuild on the starter

just wondering if anyone has ever rebuilt a starter on a 86 250es? how hard was it ?
and where did you get the kit to do it
im sure mines needs a major rebuild ;)

last fall i got my starter brush's from the honda dealer close by. they wern't cheap but alot less then a new / used starter.
the nose cone bearing is not available any longer and mine was shot.
went to a bearing distributer ( berry bearing - nation wide ) and they had a very close match that works just fine ( about 7 dollars ).

so i have a like brand new starter for under 60 bucks and it works perfect.
