My neighbor has one of those strange things you ride on. It only has two wheels. Crazy. Anyhow it is a 86 honda xr80 and he is trying to swap the magnets off the flywheel to a good flywheel. He tried to pull the current flywheel off with an automotive puller and bent the inside oblong slots just a little. First can he run it like that as long as there is no interference with the cover? Second if not then can anyone recommend how to swap the magnets and junk from one to another? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Having trouble finding a replacement. Anyone know what other years would fit?

hi,
you can't change magnets if they are glued on.
if the flywheel is even the least bit bent it is junk.
buy the proper tool from honda or ebay or have a shop pull it.
here is a new orig one.
