Are they different? Or can either work in either bike? 250sx airboxes on EBAY are absurdly priced.

Whether they both pass the mount up test, I can't help you there. But, they both carry different part numbers, which would lead me to believe they are different in some way.

If both Dave, and Howdy didn't have any, one just hit ebay this morning.

I know that guy with the blue & black bench, know him well. I didn't hear from you until this morning but last night I decided to put the best box & lid I have on Ebay.

MJKH, here are pics of what I've got left:

Better of the two boxes has this damage:

But it seals fine with the lid on:

The other air box far right has a screw missing on the heat shield and has some melting from an exhaust that was flopping around just beneath the shield, but it's not melted through and the sidewall has to get pushed out for a lid to seat fully onto it.
How does $45 shipped sound to you for the better of the two (left box) & lid? PP is at dc_little99 at hotmail

I had an 85 es that sat outside for years and I oiled bolts and put screws in the airbox etc etc.
Well? it flooded overnight, no warning and the trike flipped upside down, dumped all the nuts and bolts and the airbox lid floated away.
The trike floated into the field fence and saved itself but the airbox lid is somewhere downstream.
Yeah, I know they're not cheap. Sure wish I had an 'extra'.
