I recently purchased this Hondaline NOS rear rack on eBay. I think it fits 86-87 125M.
First off, does anyone else have one? Can someone confirm that this is the correct rack for this trike?
It does touch the back of the seat (see third photo) - which makes me wonder......
Although everthing points to this being the right one (issue date on installation booklet is 1985).

Now the bad news - it has no mounting hardware. Feels like I bought a unicorn without a horn!
I will put up a WTB ad in the classifieds, but that seems a bit futile.
If anyone has this rack with mounting hardware, I would LOVE some pictures, dimensions, anything to confirm.
Really seems like I might need to replicate these mounts.... or just wait and watch (for a decade or so) until a set pops up for sale.

Thanks in advance. Enjoy the photos.

The additional hardware are two brackets. The tubing that you can see in the picture is six inches long. The bracket part of it is six inches wide. I am guessing that they are symmetrical.

I am missing one of the two. Here are a couple of pictures of the one that I have.

I included the rack in the pictures to show that it is the same model. Mine is rusted, tweaked, and missing the center section though. For some reason, the one bracket that I have is in much better shape than the rack.

Is that a NOS 2nd gen 125m too? Looks awesome.

I never even seen a 86/87 with a rack.

007 beat me to it.
Looks just like a 250sx rack.
Wish I had the 'extra' money to buy one.

Not thrilled about drilling throught the fenders however.

The number in the installation booklet is:
08153-HB600-95
Does that help?

I have some pics of the manual too. It clearly says 125M and the pictures look like my fenders. I will post pics of the instruction booklet. In the next day or 2.

Any chance I could get my hands on that bracket for reproduction? I would make it worth your while.

Not many people have..... Hence this thread.
I actually trail ride the heck out of that little bugger. I need the rack to haul refreshments. The best part is when there is a long line of kwads waiting to pass a sketchy part of the trail. I pick a line between the trees and pass them all up. Truly an ALL terrain cycle and my most favorite 3 wheeler of all.

It is all original minus the tires, spray bombed wheels, and a couple cables. You can read all about it in chapter 4 of my next book, "How Not to Buy Crappy 3-Wheelers."

Well,I'll be licked! That sure is a 125 part # ! Last production run too :). SX would be a 08153-HA600. Hmmmm, that just doesn't look right ,but it has to be ! Nice grab!

The brackets are in the middle picture of CaptWeezy's last post. Look for the vertical tubing on either side of the grab bar.

Maybe you could work out a deal to buy or borrow those brackets.

That is indeed the correct rear rack for a second gen M. I purchased a NOS with hardware last winter.

Was able to get the left side bracket. Will need to have the right one fabricated. Seems to fit. The bracket also has holes to relocate the toolbox.

Cousin Snake made me a second bracket and mounted it up. Fits great. I still have to get some pinch bolts and reattach my tail light and tool box.
The toolbox holes don't line up for some reason (that is the side using the purchased mount, not the fabbed one). I just find it odd that it is all Honda parts and they don't work together.

In any case, I bungeed some beverages to this rack and went for a nice no trails ride on Saturday. Very functional - love it. Unfortunately, the Hondaline rack is no longer NOS. It is now UOS!

Snake did save the program to make the brackets. If you are interested, PM me for prices.

I have the two brackets that mount to either side of the rear frame. I'll post pics if I can find them. I took my rack off my 87 because I didn't have the lock down knobs to keep it from bouncing

Yes sir I do believe that is the correct rack for that bike. The 86-87 125m is my favorite trike Good job finding that rack you must have payed a small fortune for that rack. That is one of two reasons why I do not have one the other is because I will not put holes in my fenders ever.
