125m, fix or replace engine?

Good tires, and plastic but the mounting boss for the
shift drum stopper is broken off.
Have seen some nice weld fixes but I have a ton of 90-110 trikes.

Bad idea to just throw in a working 90 or 110 in half a day
and be done with it?
Will they even swap?

I just got my old 84 125m back that I had given to my brother for his birthday back in July. It also still needs the boss welded back on. I do have a complete second motor but that one needs a head. I could swap out but I'm lazy. I'd rather just have it TIGed. I think it's kb0nly that said he's fixed several of these and they're all still working. I might have to pay him a visit. I think he's only a few hours due West of me in Minnesota.

i like them orig. if you need a trike to ride quickly i might toss in another eng if it will fit but i would fix the orig and put it back in for sure.

Not sure what you have for funds, but is this one of the new take out engines Benny has for about 600 beans??
