the only info i got about the pipes, is that one of them looked like the work of klemm research. i dont know what they are and i only got one pic. he included the 2 pipes and silencer for free. he said they are not in good shape. i hope to repair them. its hard to tell from the picture.
how does the bigger picture of the axle look? he said the 86 stuff bolts up to it.
thanks,
mark

i notice that big nut. shouldnt there be two nuts though? i dont know if he was refering to that nut or the nuts for the ends of the axle. i guess he meant those, since the ends should be stock size. i was having trouble understanding that part.
thanks,
mark

well i noticed the brake hub so it is a 86 model. are the splines liek the 85 or like the 86? my axle was called the pro lite model so maybe there are different models of dura blue for the 86? here is a pic of the JWR 86 axle. notice the 85 spines on it.
you are going to have one killer tecate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no, it only has the one nut. the nut is not threaded onto the axle. it has a sleeve that fits over the axle and a round clip that the nut presses against to hold the axle in place. the nut has holes drilled for lock wire. my dura blue does not even have threads on it. it is also 6" wider then the stock one. is that one 4" or 6" wider?

i was told it is +4 and that it accepts the 86 hubs. might be a cheaper model than yours.

i would not say cheaper, there is nothing cheap from dura blue and nothing cheap for a tecate. it does sound like you got a killer deal. there must be different models for the tecate, I learn new stuff every day!!!!! now lets see some complete pics!!! :-D

the second pipe is like yours chris.
the first pipe i am guessing is a bassini. its looks stock, but it is different than stock. i have two stock pipes and they have a horizontal weld just before the pipe rises. this one has flat weld way early.
anyone can help what these pipes are? the guy i bought it from mentioned klemm research for one of them.
one number plate i got off ebay. the one with the 13 is cracked, but was cool getting it for free. i am going to fix it up. thanks again mark.
