how will a 40mm carb work on a TRI-Z 250 ??

how would a 40mm carb work on a TRI-Z 250 with a pipe, silencer and reeds would it be over kill ive already got a 38mm TMX makuni flat side but maybe there is room for more power would i gain any or just waste money i dont care about low end

I believe that on the restorations page, a guy has a 40mm lectron carb on his tri-z, I personally think it would be overkill though.

yeah but in the high RPM the engine should put out some good power i dont trial ride much at all so i wouldnt care about loozing low end i like having a high end screamer. :twisted: to fly up the sand pit walls on and blast down back roads :twisted:

I guess it all comes down to rider preference, but it will probably be a gas hog.

im in it for power i dont give a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro how much gas it swallows i feel the same way about my cars im young what do i care about gas milage it only cost like 3-4$ to fill the tank on it any way thats nuthing lol
