I dont know of any 2-strokes that actually have rev limiters,, they are probably maxing out their porting/pipe/carb combo and running out of revs. or maybe they are maxing their CDI's built in ignition curve,,, Idk i know our CR85 with a kart cylinder will do the same thing if you clip the throttle in just the right spot
