Awesome! Nothing here in Ontario yet. Probably be a month and a half before any good amounts of snow on the ground.
I love the snow, snow means ice, which means my lake freezes. Nothing better than lake riding !

You mean "ol' SLED"???

I can't wait to trade in tires for track..!!!

Maybe Scooter will be my hero and release his custom ski kits for the ES/SX..that will keep the trikes out in the snow!! Fingers crossed!!!

We had a an area of snow that just came through, it was spotty, Pipestone got like 10" and we got 6", Marshall got around 8". Friends of mine only a half hour or so away in other directions got a dusting or nothing at all. A real freak storm that just dumped on a small area.

Tossing on the plow and chains, Ol' Red is gonna have some fun!

Take a trip up here... LOL...

The snow is turning to slush now sadly... It warmed up enough to start melting it back to grass and mud... But there is more in the forecast and before you know it we will be complaining we have to much so i just enjoy it when i can. Took the 90 over to a dirt parking lot across from me, they don't mind as long as you replace your divot (LOL), and was just tearing it up. I could have done that all day but sadly i had work to do...

Friend of mine stopped as he was driving by and said "your such a kid", i said hey grow up not old!

Well im talking about rifle season. Archery is in, muzzleloader passed, maybe flintlock is in or coming up, youth and senior passed.
And where i live its one week of buck then after that is doe and buck.

I would love to live in a place where it snowed a ton but then again i also love it here in PA where we have nice springs and summers.

Nice looking machines kb. We've got a dusting but it's been cccccold! Ponds are all frozen so the riding should be good in a week or so.

Ghost I filled my buck tag with a F-150 work truck last night. A 140" 4 x 4 whitey; nice heavy bodied deer. It sucked waiting for two hours at -18 c (0 F) for a tow truck all the while listening to the deer suffer. The cops were supposed to show to kill it but never did.

To re-awaken the snow topic again..

Anyone ever mount a pair of ATV tracks on a three wheel?

I've been considering this as I am in dialogue with Scooter about a fab front ski kit..I'd like to take my Big Red to the snow level!

Anyone with suggestions or pics of a three wheel done this way I like to see..and yes I am aware of the Yeti kit that is available, problem is they don't come up that often. Last one I saw was 2 years ago and I was too slow on the draw.

I had a similar convo with a guy last winter, he has a quad with those triangular shaped track units in place of wheels. I never looked to closely at them but they just basically bolt to the hub like a wheel and then a couple little struts that keep it down when it pivots to go over high spots and help it float over low spots. I was going to look at it further but they cost too damn much to get a hold of. Maybe if i found some cheap/free units i could give it a shot but not at the prices they go for.

I've seen 2 different ATC70s on here with tracks. I'd just buy a snowmobile though. I sold a 1980 John Deere Liquifire which has a Kawasaki liquid cooled 440cc 2 cylinder 2 stroke engine that was ready to ride and ran perfect for under $200.

Just got about 12 inches here in west PA, they say 1-3 more tomorrow. Thats just too deep to go riding in. My 4 mil banshee with reversed 4SNOWs will barely go through it

Yea, and a few counties down we got nothing but rain. Crazy, and sucks. Good i guess for holiday travel.

It sucks for me just as much as you. As much as I like the white stuff, its too deep to go riding, and you're slip sliding everywhere down the road

I'm jealous bro. We got a dusting on top of some rain earlier that got my hopes up...but now it's freezing cold with clear skies and super windy.

Just remember that road salt corrodes bikes, so either douse your trike in wd-40 or hose it off good when you're done.

No sorry, i didnt see you mentioned the yeti kit. I saw it on facebook then saw you posted that and i just uploaded it here. My bad.
I know you can buy tracks for atv's like in the video above featuring the 70, but im wondering how it could be adapted to a BR or something. Pricey though. Im sure someone could fab up a ski to fit the front if no kits are for sale.

4-6 inches, 2 foot drifts last night. Supposed to get about the same tonight.
