Its kind of nice that all the quad guys are all going for the big bores .That leaves everything for use and they are cheap . my new winter project for the winter I still need a good bottom end and 36 pj but should be a nice runner next year.180203180204

thanks ,I kind of screwed up when I rebuilt the motor that I have in it now .I didn't put the reed spacer back on because I didn't have enough gaskets . I used a trx 250r head gasket because I had one but the old one was about 1/4 the size .It runs great but I liked it a lot better the way it was . This one is going to be on race gas .I no I can get a pj 36 on it but .I was thinking i might try a pj 38 but I dont no if i can get one in the boots. I no the pjs are kind of outdated but i was trying to keep it as vintage as possible

182884I gave up on building another motor so I threw that paul turner cylinder on . The piston is a little out of specs but I wanted to pressure check it before its bored . The pressure test came out good I ran it up to 8 pounds had it there for 8 minutes ,I lost nothing . my current setup is paul turner midrange cylinder, pyramid reed cage,& Duncan 37.3 pj carb, no air box lid, k &n filter and a ct midrange pipe . I wasn't going to run it but after I put it together I could not help myself . I slapped the carb on and the pipe , had to do some jetting . That woke the hole thing up man it will run now. I would say its got to be close to as powerful as any tecate I have owned

sudco.com has an online catalog that has intakes to put larger carbs on sevewral models as well as a few pages of universal intakes.

I'm good the carb started life as a pj 36 then they bore it to a 37.3 so the stock boot, air box boot fit and the carb cap also . Its hooked to the air box I just don't have a lid on the air box

Nice exhaust system. What is the brand--BDT? Did you win those low profile rear fenders of ebay recently?
