I Got Ripped Off On Ebay

On 12/12/03, I won an action on ebay for a 200s motor. The same day I payed the guy $130 using paypal. Well after the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro got my money I never heard from him again. I have my recipt from paypal, and have sent this guy a ton of emails. Is there anything I can do? Please help.
By the way the guys seller name is gne12@aol.com. He is located in FL. and has all good feedback, I just do not undersatnd. :(

I did a search on ebay for other auctions this guy is selling and it says it is an invalid userid. So he obviously cancelled his ebay account. I would add GNE12 to your Aol instant messenger buddy list and see if he signs on. then you could IM him, he will probably just block you though.

YOu can file it with ebay for action. If it goes farther to the third party, you have to pay money to get action. But I would send all the info you have on this person to the ebay address for these problems.

You need to file with PayPal ASAP.
They have a time limit for filing a claim.
I found out the hard way.

You have 30 days to request a refund via paypal. If I was you I would file for a refund. After 30 days they won't do much if anything to help.

Howdy is right, you best hurry up. You'll have more luck with paypal than you'll ever get with ebay.

paypal is owned by ebay now! good news for you.. dude is screwed! I also heard on the radio, that ebay will now give any members info, to any law enforcement officer via fax or phone call incase of situations like this.. Id give him another week, then call ebay and find out how to get the cops involved.
