I am rebuilding my 85x motor that had a 65.5mm wiseco piston. I am replacing it with a shindy 66.25mm piston. I've already had the cylinder machined to mate up with the new piston. My question is will I need to change my carb jetting at all to accomodate the new bigger piston? Right now it has a stock main jet. And stock exhaust

i would say either bump your main and pilot up one size, or lower the clip on the needle one spot

Are you running a 1985 200x carb?

Usually when you just do a clean up bore you don't have to rejet, but see how it runs

I agree with rdl here. See how it runs first and if you need to bump it up, then do it.

any reason you replaced with shindy and not another wiseco?

Price mainly is why I went with the shindy. I plan on selling the trike after the rebuild and I already have more into it than I can sell it for. Anyhow, I got it back together, and found that I had to move the needle up to the highest position. It starts first kick and idles great. My next question is how long do I run before doing the break in oil change?

Run it for a few hours then change the oil.
