OK - so where are the 3wheelers?!? I'm pretty sure I've seen posts on these forums from guys who have restored/rebuilt trikes for this museum:
Honda Japan Museum Google-Street-View (https://www.google.com/maps?ll=36.526628,140.226551&spn=0.46404,0.617294&cbp=12,283.79,,0,14.65&layer=c&panoid=TLROjcpJeTFJoB3em2JRHg&cbll=36.526628,140.226551&t=h&z=11)

That looks to be just race bikes. No 4 wheelers either

Yah, I'm sure there is a completely separate wing for trikes... hopefully they'll add it to the "street view" soon!!

WOW, good find!!! But what the hell are Yammi trikes doing in a HONDA museum?!?! I'm starting to think this isn't the museum I was thinking of, and instead perhaps someone else's private collection... there are several Suzuki bikes there as well.

Doh! You beat me to it! That site is VERY cool. I just took a tour of the whole building, including the open wheel race cars. Very cool! Wish I could have found a 250R or 350X though...

Looks like the place got rearranged.
Here is the shot from vintage motorsports website. Click the picture that shows the "US90 at the Honda Collection Hall". (note the big goofy greenish bike in the background with the huge windshield):
http://www.vintagemotorsports.net/gallery2.htm
Now check out this shot from the museum now:
https://www.google.com/maps?ll=36.526628,140.226551&spn=0.46404,0.617294&cbp=12,283.79,,0,14.65&layer=c&panoid=TLROjcpJeTFJoB3em2JRHg&cbll=36.526628,140.226551&t=h&z=11
edit: crap, nevermind. I can't post a link to the exact view I had inside the museum. Basically, all the Odyseys and the US90 have been replaced by more motorcycles. If you find the ATC70, you'll see the location where the US90 used to be...

Someone thought there was no trikes in the honda museum in Japan but it's only motorcycles on this floor (mostly) and trikes and other machines on another floor.
Then there was talk about another museum opening with trikes.
Then some people think a person named bill is opening a museum when in reality there is lots of people that go by bill here with a collection of atc's.

Getting back to the Honda Museum in Japan...I wonder why they got rid of the US90 and the Odyssey's? Also surprising they don't have more 3 wheelers on display...I mean, it is Honda after all. You think they'd be able to afford to buy one of each model in mint for the showroom?

I don't think the people really understand how much Honda hates what happen to them because of the ATC's. It very clear to me when I talk to them (or try to talk to them) about anything to do with ATV racing let alone ATC's.
I do have a Yamaha Wol. 350 in the Yamaha Museum that Mike Penland won the Baja 1000 with in japan. Even got a pic in a frame with the Pres. of Yamaha as a thank you for sending it to them.
I had no idea they felt like that. Nobody ever really elaborated much on how they feel today about the subject. But after all, not even having the one that started it all, the US90, on display is a little sad. Its the foundation for all offroad machines today. Its history, but then again even here in America we still hide the history that we are not proud of.

Guys just to set the record straight what you are seeing from those 360 pictures is a scratch of what is at the collection Hall. I was persoanlly involved with the museum from its conception in 1998 and to this date have 14 of my restorations sitting on the floors in the collection hall. as far as ATCs Honda did not keep much of anything in japan before the collection hall was built in 1998. I restored a early serial number 1969 US90 in Summer yellow for them as well as a 1974 ATC90 , a 1973 ATC70, a 1986 ATC 250r they wanted to set up a display for kid sized model showing other brands so I restored a yellow tri-zinger and an Suzuki ALT50 they are displayed together to show how each differed etc . They display 350 cars and motorcycles at one time at the collection Hall but they have 3 warehouses full of motorcycles off site not far housing well over 1500 other models these models get rotated in and out to change up the displays and alot of the other bike travel to off site displays in Japan. Honda is very proud of the US90 I was fortunate to talk to engineers involved with its conception even though the ATCs dragged honda through some bad times they still hold it as one of the landmark bikes in there history. what an amazing place .

Im always amazed with massive personal collections and museums with how they maintain their machines. I mean this is a great example, how do they do it? One of my personal favorite examples is Jay Leno's collection, he has TONS of cars ranging from a 100 year old electric car and steam cars to modern day super cars. Hell, even a jet powered motorcycle. The thing is, he drives all of his cars. Does Honda drain all fluids and prep them a certain way? Or do they hire a team just to keep up with them?

Mickey it is crazy how Honda crushed everything I kind of got my in with honda through Chuck miller and they all said the same thing nothing was saved and prior to them building the collection Hall they had very little of there history put away it wasnt until there 50th anniversary in 98 when they wanted to bring everything back to show the world its sad because the early factory race bikes were soo trick
