OK lets clear this up!!!

1985-6 250r Clears the hub wont clear MOST caliper need to take 4mm off the 1st and last caliper fin

1985-6 350x Clears hub caliper bolt on deal

1986-7 200x WILL FIT!!

Also will fit 1st Gen 200x with hub swap from a 86-87 200x and small amount of grinding on the caliper!!!

1986-7 tecates clears hub and caliper with no problems

Will not fit the Tri-z with out putting honda forks and hond hub on your triz you need 86 tripples to do so! It wont fit with just changing the triz hub to a 250r one sorry i tryed!

Are they going to fix the bell diameter issue or at least remove the bead retainer "notches" that are on these wheels? I have had a terrible time mounting tires on these wheels...

Yes they are this is why there was a huge time span between buys. Was told they are going to smooth the transistion and remove those grooves like on the 70 wheels. I can't fix something when I don't kno the issue. Thanks for bringing this up again.

i just mounted a 10in kenda front max on one of these wheels today. one serious "POP" when the bead finally set, but no struggling or ratchet strapping. must just be tire choice

Hey Xowner, I've been thinking about this for awhile but thought there might not be enough interest so I never said anything. But what the heck. It might not be something you want to mess with but I figured I'd throw it out there.
How about a 3 bolt 9" wheel (x 8) for the front of a scrambler. I know this is probably going to be a very limited market unless the 225DX/DR guys or ATC90/110 guys want 3 of them to get 9" aluminum wheels all the way around on their bikes, that might be the only way to get enough of an order. It was also work on 1981 ATC250R. I personally will take one and I'm pretty sure Big Mike will buy one. Right now there are no 3 bolt 9" wheels that I know of at all, not even steel. We are stuck with 10s on back and just an 8 on front. If its not something you want to mess with no big deal. I don't need one but if it were available I'd certainly buy one!

I have been Looking at this, Just havnt had time to look and see if a 9 inch wheel was made what it would fit. If we can get it to fit the 90/110's the Dr/DX and the p3 im sure we could do it. Ill start another thread on it here soon. We will see what happens!

The wheels Xowner had made would bolt right up to the stock hub, but I don't think there are any of these around anymore being so long ago. I inquired about a year ago.

DT Motorsports and BVC Trikes both make billet front wheel hubs that will allow you to run a 10" wheel. BVC's comes as a kit with both the wheel and hub.

Or, you can keep your stock hub and machine the edges down to accept a DWT 10" wheel. This is one I did for a 86/87 200x hub but the procedure is the same for the 350x hub.
