Been trying to do some research in what cages will fit into my 250r. I would love to find some info to find a set of vforc3 for this ol girl!

U might re-title to "300r". Lol I've heard on AF.com that third gen R cages fit…not sure though.

Thanks! Looks like the mossbarger website answered all my questions on what fits what!

How do they compaire to the Vforce 3 reeds and cage? My 81 300r is prolly in need of some replacement reeds and intake boot soon. I have not taken mine apart to have a look at them yet. I signed up at airfoolers a while back but end up here most of the time. Lol
Do the DG heads fit on the hondaline 300 cylinders?

ive never run the V-force reeds but i think DP250R81 on af.com runs em and will chime in at some point with his experience. i think someone on AF recently had a VF3 reed petal curl up for no obvious reason
ive only run the stock cage with stock and aftermarket reeds, and the mossbarger cage n reeds. definite improvement with the mossbarger setup, but its more of a compliment to the rest of the work done to the motor, rather than a night and day difference.
no the DG heads are for the stock cylinder with 6 studs. the hondaline 300 cylinders have 7 studs
