Once again while at the local bike shop I picked up some sweet deals on some clearance parts that was listed as make an offer.(I make a point to always grab anything 3wheeler even thought I might not own the machine the part fits.) Anyways this time one of the things I got was a set of new in box Dura Blue 1+ hubs for either my 250r or 350x according to the box. I got them for a awesome deal and they where sold to me as is no returns. So they set in my room for about 4 months and today I decide to put them on the 350x. The old hubs slide right off with no effort (I've had them off before numerous times) I go to put the new Dura Blue on and I can't get it to slide on. I can get it to start and I smacked it pretty hard with a block of wood and a hammer but could only get it to drive on half way. I managed to take it back off and put my old hubs back on. I counted the splines and both axle and hub have 25. Has anybody had this problem before? Should I put the hubs in the oven or something to get them hot and maybe then they will fit?

Sounds like somebody took a bad guess at what they fit....

The Dura Blue box says they fit 250r and 350x. What else has 25 splines? I don't understand why they don't fit.

Is there a possibility they would only fit a Durablue axle?

IDT so, maybe a 200X. IDK, some of you guys write this stuff down, I have to "learn again" what does and what does or doesn't fit.

Thats too bad if you got a great deal but the hindsight is you can sell them!!

They look exactly like the ones in that link. I wouldn't want to try to sell them because if I'm having problems getting them to fit so would the next guy and that's a good way to get a bad rep selling on here. I'm gonna figure this thing out. If I can't get them on after another try I'm gonna get ahold of Dura Blue and see what they can do for me.

Did you take a close look at all of the splines in the Dura Blue hubs? All it takes is one spline to be deformed or boogered up, and it'll be difficult to slide on.
