these don't appear to be to popular. handlebars sure do feel different, smaller or something. I do like that it has electric start though. guy said coil went out on it. so I moved it out of his way for him. 1984 200m. gas tank looks to be in great shape, inside and out. I was really shocked to see how clean it was on the inside.

AFTER PLAYING AROUND WITH IT FOR A FEW, I GO AND TRY TO TAKE OFF THE CARB BUT THE NEEDLE ( I GUESS ) IS STUCK. THE CAMP UNSCREWS OFF BUT UNLY MOVES ABOUT AN INCH.
ANY IDEAS???
CAN I JUST REACH IN WITH SOME NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS AND TRY NOT TO BREAK. I BUT SOME MARVEL MYSTERY OUL IN THERE TO MAYBE LOOSEN IT UP . DOESNT REALLY HOLD THOUGH , IT JUST LEAKS OUT.
LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL CARB SO ID LIKE TO KEEP IT IF POSSIBLE
THAT CHOKE CABLE IS PRETTY COOL!!! ANYBODY PUT THESE ON OTHER BIKES??

They are good little trikes, basically a 200s with electric start.
Too bad it didnt come with a rack.

I would suspect a 200es rack would fit on it as well. If you need any more parts I have some parts for a 185s and 200es machines (both similar to yours), I can check if the parts interchange or not.

The plunger is stuck in the bore..probably gummed up from an extended sitting time.
Spray some WD under the cap so it runs down into the bore to the top of the slide..lots is good.
Let it sit overnight and try to remove in the morning..if really stuck use a small hand torch and WARM the top of the carb and give the cable another good solid yank!
It should go..
Now if this thing was dumped in a creek, drowned with muddy water and parked that carb/cable may not separate..you may be calling Cory(PS2fixer) for parts sooner than you thought.
But give it a try!!

Sounds good, but no tools like needle nose..you scratch up the bore inside that carb is junk! If you can't pull it apart with your hands it hasn't soaked long enough!

I've taken apart a few old 185/200 carbs that had so much varnish in the bowl the needle was effectively glued to the needle jet.
If soaking from the top doesn't help, take the bowl off and give it lots of spray carb cleaner.

Holy..... Man that thing needs one serious bath...
If you still can't get the needle out after removing the jet here is one trick i had to do on a severely dirty carb once... Reach down into the slide with a small dental pick, metal pick that is, and remove the clip from the needle so that you can pull the slide up and out of the carb leaving the needle stuck in there by its self. Now you can soak around the needle with some PB Blaster. Worst case you just have to knock out the needle seat with the needle still in it. Thats not to hard to do generally, i haven't had one yet, knock on wood, that didnt come out with a few taps from the bottom.

I would throw the whole carb in parts cleaner solvent, and let it sit for a week, and forget about it. When you finally check it out, if it is still stuck, throw it away and buy a used one off ebay. They should be a dime a dozen, as you could use one off a 185, 200, or 200x Honda. If you get it cleaned up, be sure to put a carb rebuild kit on the list.

Wow that is a lot of dried up gas! A whole tank?! I'm with the others on this, with it being that bad, just buying another carb, even in unknown shape and making 1 from the 2 + rebuild kit is probably the easiest way.

So you think soaking in parts cleaner vs soaking in a can of carb cleaner?

This is why I try and tell my brother he needs to close the tank petcock when he isn't gonna use his machines for an extended period.
The fuel in the bowl evaporates out leaving the vanishy solids, the open petcock just feeds more fuel into to take it's place!!
What a mess!
