deal on an ohtsu?

I just hit the buy it now on this, seemed like a good deal to me considering what new ones bring. Rim looks mint also. now i wont have to run 1 of the nos dunlops from the stash. school me on which tire was on what year please:wondering

I didn't read where they gave him the rim. The tire is desired by many, maybe not a flip nut just something nice for your rider :beer

I thought the ohtsu was for an 85 and a Dunlop for an 86? I may have them flip flopped.The '85 ran the Dunlop's and '86 atc's and '86 and up trx's used ohtsu's. I think the design changed in 88 to a 400ex style ohtsu, but the 86 atc/trx and 87 trx used the same ohtsu tire.

Yes 23.5x8-11 P/V 101, that is the PERIOD correct tire for the 1986- 1987 200X and 1986 350X as they were on the showroom floor. ONLY the 1986 ATC250R had the 23x8-11 P/V on the showroom floor as pictured in this eBaY ad but correct me if I am wrong. Then again I remember seeing original 250R's with the OHTSU 23 spelled out PRO VECTOR? Maybe those were just replacement tires from the 1985 ATC350X, it had PRO VECTOR on them.

I did buy it to run, but we shall see. I may entertain a trade for a new 23.5. I bought 2 dunlops when you could still get them, but hard to want to run them considering what they bring. I do have 10 inch rims also, so I could just go that route and stash this one also. I know the ohtsu's dont pop up often, so I'll check condition when it arives and make a decision. Same seller has a nice set of 200x rims with original tires for a fair price, if the tires had alittle more life I would have jumped on them too! maybe good for someone though.
