The guy just dropped the tri-z off an hour ago, and took my blown up blaster. Riding this thing is a lot different than my other tri-z, (I only rode it before I rebuilt it, and the compression was very bad). On this one, I am amazed at how you could lug it, but still have the power to pop the front end up if you wanted to, on my other one, it would just revv out on top, (no bottom end at all), here is a pic to refresh everyone's memory. I dont know what I have planned for it, are aftermarket reeds a good upgrade for the price?

yup and i think like 88-92 or soemthing yz125 dirt bike reeds are a direct bolt in that way if you order for the yz you get alot more choices i have pondered with the idea of using the yz rad valve and see if it helps at all

Good deal! I'd give a blaster (even in good condition) for a tri-z anyday. Is the plastic painted? I'm guessing, yes, I wanted blue for mine. Looks great, let's see the rest of your tri-zs.

That's why I liked my Z so much, you could lug the motor down and it still made good power.

Yeah, the fenders are painted, and he split the headlights open, and painted the insides of them,(he said it was pretty hard). I dont like the twist throttle though, I think I will be looking for a thumb throttle.
