I purchased a seat/fear fenders for 1984 ATC 110 then removed its seat for replacement of the original seat on my 1985 ATC 110.
Upon installation on my 1985, I find the 1984 seat leaves a large (3") gap between it and the fuel tank. The seat does not fit flush against the gas tank and I don't know why...
I removed the 1984 seat and placed it next to the 1985 seat for comparison. Both seats are identical except perhaps the 1984 seat's front area rises a bit more steeply than the 1985 seat. A review of Honda ATC 110 parts list micro-fiche shows the 1983 - 1985 seats are alike (same part number).
Has anyone else ever run into this problem? What was the solution?
