Help!!stator probs [Archive]

i just got my old stator overhauled and i put it in and there is still no spark?? i connected all the wires..whats the prob?

Did you check your coil?

yes id check both your coil and your CDI box one of those might have gone bad on you.

i got a good coil and stator..id say its the CDI? do these go out alot?

some times they do from what it sounds like this may be your problem they dont go all the time but it does tend to happen from time to time id get your hands on a nice used one and plug it in and see if that fixes your spark problem try to get a cdi box and test is before you pay for it thow so you arnt buying something you dont need
