I was wondering if anyone knew what the temperature would be at the exhaust flange? I bought some high heat gasket maker stuff for sealant for my head pipe because its got a slight leak but it says its good for up to 650F.

The orange RTV stuff should be good. Leaking between the jug & flange or where the pipe meets flange?

Where the pipe meets flange, nothing major, just thought id do it right instead of just leaving it

RIDE IT HARDER or change your oil ratio,,, THATS ALL IT TAKES TO FIX THAT OIL LEAK ..

Its not an oil leak its an exhaust leak...

I've been getting this too, I mix 40/1 and ride pretty damn hard. After every ride I find
A couple drops of oil under the exhaust manifold. Same spot as auto demon. Kasey are you saying that oil should be burned up completely and not making it to the exhaust? Could it be too rich of jetting? Or just a worn crush gasket?

I was talking about an exhaust gas leak not oil leak, if your getting oil splooge, your running too rich, check you plug color

Yeah my jetting is spot on but I still seem to be getting drips, plug is a nice mocha color. I guess what I was trying to say is you might need a new crush gasket. The copper one on the exhaust flange. I've heard a lot of motorcycle shops carry them.
