xr200r in 83 200x frame

So my engine on my trike crapped out the other day and it was leaking oil so im not going to bother and rebuild it but i heard that an xr200r motor will bolt directly onto the engine mounts on the 200x frame. Is this true and how much more power will i get and is there any engine mods i could do to give the xr200r more power? Thank you

It may be a cheaper fix than buying another motor from something else and messing around with that. Plus its always good to have the OEM stuff under there in my eyes. Leaking oil may be as simple as a bad seal. Crapped out could be something as simple as a carb clean or new plug.

not crapped out like that, like seized up and fixing a seized engine could be expensive plus i want something a little more powerful.

Then save up your money and buy a 250R or 350x.

Assuming it's the 2 valve XR engine...

Bolt in. Kicker kicks wrong way. Brake pedal pivot missing. Power slightly more. Extra gear I think?

Maybe you can take the clutch cover and kicker stuff from the X and put it on the XR engine? I don't know..
