Does anyone use a craigslist search program? I used to use the one that Google had, but they stopped it. Just curious.

thanks

I get annoyed at search tempest.....most of the links I click on are no longer active. Stupid google, getting rid of their rss feed.

How about search words? Does anyone have a favorite that yields good results? I try all variations of three wheeler......dash, no space, 3, plural, etc.

Yupp.
I've found trikes listed as:
3 wheller
3 wheeler
3 wheelerS
listed locally and nearby areas. Usually search from main menu as trikes can appear under farm or barter too.
but my all time favorite was.
"BIG red 3 wheller, makes a great quaad." It was a 90 but guess it looked big and red.

Is there a way to search for "x" amount miles away from a certain zip code?

My dad likes to use yakaz.com (http://yakaz.com). You can narrow it by state and county. Like someone else said though, some listings are old.
Searches not only c-list, but also eBay and other smaller classified ad sites

If you use an Android smartphone get cPro Craigslist. Its a great app. You can setup saved searches and select regions and such and if anything gets listed that matches the phone alerts you. I have snagged a ton of stuff off CL by being the first guy that called minutes after it was posted. One guy told me he was only three feet away from the computer when the phone rang.

I also use www.allofcraigs.com which is powered by Ad Hunt'r when i am on the computer to browse.
