So after washing all the wheelers today (5 of them) and my son helping me get the job done. He asked if he could ride the old Big Red around the yard. So I figured what the heck, and let him have at it. I explained to him how the shift pattern is the opposite of what he has been learning on and is used to. Little turkey took to it like a pro without one single screw up as far as I could tell.

Kind of a proud Dad moment watching the boy move up in the ATC world. Going to be a while yet before he's ready to throw a leg over an R though! ;)

That's awesome! My girls love my 250r but are still to young to even have a 50cc quad.

Oh and if you think he hasn't asked me at least a dozen times over the last couple of years when I will let him ride one of the "braaps" as we call them.....Well, I would like to sit down and talk to you about buying some sweet oceanfront property I have in Montana....

My daughter is already calling my 350x hers..... Hmmmmmm I'm not quite sure she realizes that the 200x is hers, or maybe she does and its because I have the 200 torn down to the bare frame for restoration. But either way she's a young triker and that's always a good thing!!!! Learn em young!!!!!!!! :w00t:

aldochina, yeah it is in pretty sweet shape, my other brother Josh picked that up from my soon to be ex-father in law for a song and a dance. He had it all torn apart in his basement for at least 10 years because he couldnt figure out why it kept dumping fuel out the carb. When he decided to sell it (I wasnt in the position to buy it.... grrrrrrr) Josh picked it up for I think it was $500 or $600. Got it home and had it running within a half hour. Turns out my father in law had the fuel supply hooked to the vent on the carb. LOL! its a cherry machine and Joe is the 4th owner. LOL! I still wish I could've bought it to begin with. LOL!
