Ok finally got the sx engine running better. Air fuel mixture was all jacked up.took it for about a 30 min ride , rode like champ, major difference than riding the 185. Then the boy woke up from his nap and wanted a ride, so i go to take him for one and its stuck in neutral, finally get it out of neutral into reverse and that's itcant get it out of reverse for nothing...did a search on google and problem might be under left side cover, maybe a shift fork? Idk? I pulled the left side off. Didnt see anything like that. . Shoui pulled the left side off left as the side the shifter is on,if i was riding tbe bike, theleft side., i got it all put back together and go to the other side. O tool all the bolts off around the case but still acts like im missing a bolt.i got the right side of the xover to come loose buttowards the center its still tight... Im going to print me a manual off tomorrow at work, just looking for any pointers in,the mean time
Thanks

You most likely need to replace the shift stopper pin. Its number 21 on this schematic.

Item number PIN
24652-HA0-000
Its under the shift shaft under the left side cover. They are known for breaking off and causing these problems. Happened to my sx, bigred, and a few of my buddies.

Very curious... My SX is having the same issue, but didn't see #21 broken off like in my BR... Also, not acting the same as that...:wondering

Is the pin torqued to specs? Not bent? Does your shifter get stuck down?
My bigreds was bent and it was very hard to get it to shift
