Tigers aren't really that big.

Ok so it wasn't white. It was a clean, decent mostly stock 85 350x, with the tank decals installed backwards. . The run/off switch was busted so u had to use a screw driver, and he said his kid "fouled the plug" last nite but if he put a new plug in it it would fire right up. He wouldn't budge off of 1000 bucks and since I already have one I decided to pass. I was really hoping for a tiger!:(

From your description $1000 sounds way too high, good job on passing it up.

I 2nd Eric's post. Way too steep for a bike that you can't hear run, and one where the guy's son JUST fouled a plug? Oh, but if you put a new one in it'll fire right up! $2k dollars later... that was an expensive "fouled plug". Lol. Sounds like typical CL add.

It wasn't CL It was actually word of mouth from a coworker who bought a 85 110 off of the guy a few says ago. In his defense he has never owned a 3 wheeler before and didn't know what he was looking at. Hes excited about his 110 and I told him the first thing he needs to do is join this site!!

If the description stated "big and white and old" ... well; that's just how most folks describe me. I am no longer fast, I am merely half fast. Sounds like you made a wise choice by skipping this one.

I basically NEVER change plugs on thumper, pingers need proper jetting to last; The 350RX is running the same plug it got in 1986 and I beat the snot out of it......

Yeah, you really have to ask yourself "why did it foul the plug ?" Usually a fouled plug means the engine has a very serious oil consumption problem, likely needs at the very least a top end rebuild.

That being said, in my area I have never seen a 350x sell for less than $2000 regardless of its condition.
