I need help with pics

I cant seem to get them shrunk down below 96kb (whatever that means)
If anyone could briefly explain it, I will be posting lots of pics. Just got new digital. Thanks, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

see if you can set your camera to take 640x480 pictures. that should be small enough.

below 96kb is the amount of hard drive space the picture takes. right click the picture and click properties. You are looking for the Size.

If your picture is showing MB that means 1000KB.

if they are .bmp files try opeing them in Microsoft Paint and save as .jpg
