The front end was crashed hard so I decided to go with the 350x front end. I'm not sure I like my sticker placement on the headlight... To much? any suggestions on a sticker for the front fender and the aftermarket rear mudflaps? And I still have a "no riders under 16" sticker that I'm not sure where it goes...

Now those are some tires! I think that sicker looks good.
Love the x front end but the only thing i would do is change out those fork boots for some black or grey ones.

Black fork boots would complete it well. I was going through recipts this morning and realized I have put $1700 into this bike. Worth every dime for me and I had fun but it was kinda like I was addicted to it. Like now what... I told my fiance I needed to finish my three wheeler before I could move in with her and start saving money for a house. I would like to buy a 70 now but I dont think she would be to impressed...

I like it. Have you ran it much with that set up? And how many miles of set time do you have on a stocker? I am wondering how that fr end works in the real world. I may have to try that..

I was limited driving on the stock front end because it was so bent. Ive been riding the x front since spring and I absolutly love it. So comfortable and handles great and no mods to install it. The only thing I notice is when crawling up rocky steep climbs the front end comes up allot more than my stock 200es..
They are the ITP rims I heard about from Dougspecs

Today was my first ride with it all clean and shiny with the new stickers...

Those executioners actually caked up with mud. First time they have done that to me. It was deep though...

I have seen the 200X front ends put on SX but don't recall the 350X front end put on a 250 Bigred, gotta say it looks like a very nice swap !
I personally like the fact that it appears that the forks could be lowered to suit individual riders style.
I reckon if I ever wad my front end up on my 85 Bigred I definitely will be looking into the 350X front end conversion.
That looks like some nasty clay that would stick to any tire !
Are you needing a kicker side cover or just hadn't put your on yet ?
NICE build ! I had about 1400 into my first POS Bigred find and it did not look anything like yours.

Im so glad you chimed in. I bought the left side cover a few weeks ago for like $90 all faded and cracked. Had to paint it. The kicker side when available on ebay are going for $170 so I decided to wait and talk to you. Thats the very last piece to the puzzle and I have the decal ready to throw on it!

OUCH!!!!. Does anyone make those here?
By the way, very nice build. I hope mine will turn out that good. But I'm starting with something in a lot worse shape. Nothin like a challenge

That sport front end on the utility trike is a bit different..but it looks good on you Kebby.
Nice work.!
Those Executioners are pretty severe on there right??
But one thing for sure they go places..my brothers trike with those on it definitely has an advantage over mine with the Mud Sharks in that foot thick slimy stuff. I struggle a bit and he just walks it thru!!

Sounds good, thank you.
I had to on the handlebar clamps make two 1 1/2" studs and drill through the rubber dash to make my dash fit the 350x tripple tree. Green was the only color I could find at the hardware store to cover up the rest of the bolt...

Doug, they go anywhere and everywhere. But they are heavy, unable to ride down railroad tracks, and vibrate a little on hardpack. I would trade them for the good old fashioned woolybuggers any day.

cool swap man! Never seen it done till now. Yeah, I think a smaller lighter tire would compliment the front better, and it will probably rip!! Must have shaved a ton of weight up front, no wonder its lifting easy on incline!! Keep us posted if you try some lighter tires in the rear! Good work

Is the fork from the 350 more narrow? Is it a better ride with it?
kebby28

I think its a way better ride. When I ride with my buddy and his stalk 250es we switch. He says he wants to do it to his. But....
From ebay
Forks $100
Tripple Trees $40
Axle $20
Hub $40
Handlebar $50
Front tire and rim $100
Headlight........... $170 I stayed up late biding against 7 others

hey man, nice job. it is certainly different! must be night and day to your 200es! no substitution for rear suspension. That baby sure looks tall. did you put wheel spacers out back, or is it the height that makes it look so wide?

Oh yeah. I get on the 200es now and it feels like a toy that just hurts my back  No spacers, just ordered the same rims as dougspecks here and they couldnt have worked out better. 2+5 offset.
are you going to hook up the disc brake on the front?
