To give you a little bit of back story. Today i was out at base using the auto hobby shop to change the oil in my car and work on my 90 frame a little bit. Well as im trying to get the brake drum off the frame a guy that works there comes up to me and asks. Is that a three wheeler. So i tell him what it is and what im doing and he goes i have two three wheelers. He tells me he has an 84 200 and a 84 110. So im thinking ok cool a fellow triker. Then he says i could buy them if i want. So im interested i just cant help my self. Both three wheelers happened to be there in the hobby shop. He shows me the 200 first which is an 84. we talk a little bit about it but im not really all that interested in it cause its in very rough shape. Then we go to see the 110 and im thinking its going to be in the same condition. When i walk through the door i couldnt believe what im seeing. What he is calling a 110 happens to be an 87 125m. One tire is flat the left corner of the rear fenders is missing as well as the head light and the seat is torn. Im excited but trying not to show it. So i ask the guy what he wants for it and he says you tell me. I look it over some more and play it down a little bit then shoot him a $150 offer and he takes it. Now here is the crappy part. I didnt have my truck with me as i was in the audi and i dont have a day off till next friday. So as always it didnt happen if you dont have pics. Well here you go. Tell me what you think and let me know what it could be worth in this condition. Oh yeah it purs like a kitten.

Not bad, good saveable machine. Two different rear tires but otherwise the tires are good.

it kills me how people dont even know what they have!!! I mean it works out for us that do when it comes to buying them but just dont understand how they ever bought parts for them or serviced them is my biggest thing. craigslist makes me laugh all the time for example right there locally there is what the owner says is an "86 200x" that is color scheme of 83-85, round tube frame and has electric start, clearly an auto x. lol cant help but laugh. anyway good find!!!!

Another persons ignorance on trikes works out for us in the end. I dont complain, it gets us the good deals.

I cant wait to get this thing home and give it the bath that it needs. Its not going to get much attention for a while the 90 is in front of it in line. I will be collecting oem and nos parts for this one.

You got a great deal on the 125, it looks to be in very good shape, just dirty. New seat, headlight and front fender then you would have EXCELLENT bike,I don't even see any rust on it. . Congrats!

Very nice, I see some engine changes and a few body changes... all I can say is tread lightly...
You might want to ask Peewee nicely if he would be willing to reproduce the decals if you plan on restoring the tank at all...

MattDragontamer. By engine and body changes are you meaning first gen to second gen. Or has there been somethings changed on this bike.

I'm going to be going over the entire bike so I might have to get ahold of peewee if I can't find some now decals.

The trike has a dico tire on it. Can anyone give me some idea of how old it might be. In an internet search I found that they are with titan tire but that was it.

Ok I have been trying to find the production numbers for the 87 but have not had any luck. I have searched the forum and the web in general but Havent found any thing for for the 87. If anybody has any information about it I would be greatful. I know they are low but I'm wondering just how low. My bike is #858 so there was at least that many.

Rarest of the rare. Excellent score... and some quad parts are a direct fit, like the headlight.

I feel like a fat kid in a candy shop right now but the candy shop is far away. I just got off the phone with a man that i could kiss (no homo). Searching for parts for this thing last night i see an add in an undisclosed location. The add says honda trike parts well there isnt any pics but it says 86/87 125m. Fast forward to this morning. I give this guy a call to see if he still has the parts which he does. He also says i have a bunch of other parts for this trike. Then i find out that he used to own a honda dealership back in the day. I ask him about the condition of the parts and he says they are new still in the bag/box. As of right now we are working on price for everything he has. I will post pics as soon as i get the parts in but all i should need now to complete this is rear fenders, headlight shell and a few odds and ends. :Bounce

Nice find! I bought an '85 basket case about 4 years ago with transmission troubles, lost momentum and now it sits in pieces. It would be a nice enough machine if I ever got back to it, but the '86-87 are much nicer!

MattDragontamer, your signature GIF is mesmerizing. I found myself staring at it for like a whole minute before I tore myself away.

Indeed, it will. A mini with e-start and reverse cannot be beat. Easily my favorite ATC! It is so fun to watch your friends pull their starter ropes and drag backwards by the grab bar after a trail stop. Just thumb your button, kick down to reverse and smile smugly. Welcome to the club.
