225dx weird engine noise??

I think I finally got the gears slipping problem all done in my dx, so today I baught some oil to get it ready to ride (the oil was going a low) so all was good than I started it up and it smoked worse then a 2 stroke I mean you couldn't see anything kind of smoke. And then their is this pinging sound coming from what sound like the top end? And the more I rev it the louder and faster the pinging was. I have no clue what to do, I've never had engine problems before so I'm not used to it. Any help would be great

Also if your wondering what oil i used it was 10w30 non synthetic

Just regular gas from sheetz, nothing special.
