Searching craigslist I see a new posting. It was titled Honda 90 three wheeler. The description was, does not run, just for parts, come get it out of my yard. So for 20 bucks the guy is bringing it to me. I'm not sure if its a us90 or a ATC 90. It has balloon tires it is red and its missing the gas tank. The front fender looks metal and the rears look like fiberglass. The tires look to be in ok shape but flat. My question is what is the chance of it actually being a us90 and I know pics are needed which I will provide Saturday when I get the old girl home. The guy said the sticker with the year is missing so I couldn't get a year.

So got it home and I forgot to take pics. After about an hour I got it running but it smokes like a freight train. Its a 74 Daytona orange 90. Now I just need to figure out if I want to fix it up or part it out. Oh yeah tires and gas tank are shot and the rear axle bearings are stuck. If this wasyours what would you do. It will need a gas tank tires and rims top end reduild and a seat. I can get a tank for little to nothing as well as 3 bolt hubs from my brother. Either way I could use the money for my 250r.

Could be as simple as gas diluted oil
or 99 cent valve seals, if it even has them.
One of my favorite 90's smokes but I can't imagine giving it up.
Pretty sure a ring job isn't very hard either.

I'd be tempted to give it a chance, see if it has all the gears
before giving up.

Well after figuring out what all I will need to fix it up, I'm going to. I might even just keep it and save it for my daughter when she is old enough.
A few questions though. What is the closest match to the orange paint. How do I get the old balloon tires off the hubs. I can't seem to get a socket on the bolt. Its like its to close to the center. And why can I not stop buying three wheelers. My wife is going to kill me. I have six wheelers in three states MO,ND,and WI.

Will start a build thread once I get started. Should be after the 15th aka payday.

There is a few colors close to the orange, i forget their names... I know one i found was an implement paint, aka farm equipment, that seemed to match really closely. Some searching on here should turn up some good results.

As for the balloon tires, the last one i took off i think i had to use a thin wall deep well socket. I would have to dig through the toolbox to tell you exactly what i used, i know i bought one just to fit that bugger and then labeled it as such... LOL

Well here are some pics of the 90. Sorry its already torn apart. Don't have much time till winter sets in. The tool kit is in great shape but I'm not sure if its the correct tool kit. There is only one small crack in the rear fenders about 3 inches long. Also the wife approved me fixing it up for my daughter. I know its jumping the gun cause she isn't even born yet but that gives me a good chunk of time to.make it perfect. What my current plans for now are. Now some of you might not like this but I'm going to make a john Deere tribute. The fenders, tank and hubs will be green. The frame will stay black. The forks, wheels, and rear carrier will be yellow. The seat will be black with yellow thread and it will have the john Deere emblems done in a pearl white on the tank. Let me know what you guys think positive or negative. Oh yeah I found tires for the back that look like tractor tires now I just need to find a ribbed front tire.

Looks like a good start. That carb looks to be from a later model 110 or something. Not that it won't work, it just looks too new compared to the rest of it.

Picked up a 1979 110 for parts tonight for 75 bucks. Engine has good compression but no spark. Should be easy to get running then put on the shelf for the future. will make a list of thing i wont be using and post in classifieds.

I took my $80 1970 Aquarius blue, US90, got it running, (barely) and flipped it for a 83 atc70... Now I gotta flip the 70!

be careful not to bend the frame if you're planning boring and stroking the 110. ive seen it before on stroked 90s

Made a little bit of progress yesterday. Got the frame, tank, and forks mostly ready for primer and paint. More progress to come in the next two weeks or so.

I'm going to be doing a john Deere theme. Reason is trikes and john deeres have always been part of my life so why not combine them.

Well this build is going to be going in a different direction. I have a few questions. How far can you bore a 110 cylinder and the 125m jug looks the same but would I have to bore the cases to fit it properly.
Just a little hint, its going to be getting 10" rims in the rear and going to have a fat trailprotrailprotrailpro

Never mind on the 125m cylinder the stroke is wrong
