I do not think UFO still makes those rad shrouds. I actually just sent letters to all those manufacturers listed on that ad to see what is available. I will post the results.

is that 40mm Mikuni Carb a stock 1986 KX250 carb?
if so its $170 new from kawasaki and i might get it.
i am trying to build a Tecate similar to this article.
i am buying an extended axle, a cal-fab swingarm, aftermarket pipes, and also looking to get the kx carb and head gasket.

I know the 40MM carb was standard on the 86 KX500. I'm not sure about on the KX250 though.

does the larger carb bolt up with no problems? or do you need to buy a carb holder on the engine side?

i also run a 2000 kx reed cage with a slip on K&N filter. i do not think the airbox would fit.
