clutch i thnk?

what is wrong when im drving my trike up da road in 5th gear, to the bar,and she drops back into 4th, my friend said i twas the push pin in the clutch? im not sure, my ride is a 85 YTM200ER

If it's automatically downshifting back to 4th, you have a seriously wrong problem and need to learn how to spell.
