My New Tecate!!

So I get home from a week of baseball in Memphis and pull up craigslist and scroll 6 items doen and there it is...Kawasaki Tecate three wheeler. Pull it up and immediately email guy. He agrees to meet me about 1 1/2 hours away. The pic shows the busted fenders, but for the price I gotta go look. I get there, can't believe it still has factory tires on it, and still has paint on swing arm . Amazed at the shape, I pay him and load it and start home. I stop to get the kids a drink, and happen to see a guy getting gas driving an el camino. My friend is looking for one so I go introduce myself and ask if he wants to sell it. After a few minutes he asks about the Tecate. He then tells me he has an 85 250R and a 350X and a trx 250R with motor out of it. I ask if we can go look. He agrees and takes me to his house and there sits the R with plastics roached from sitting outside, but still has oem tires on it. We talk for a while and negotiate a possible trade for an 87 trx 70 I have. So crazy how it all unfolded but good chance I'm gonna land an 85R and a Trx R. My wife is exhuberant!!!!!! LOL Anyway, here is the Tecate. First Kawasaki in my stable! 172979172980172981

Thanks everyone! Yeah I did ok on this one. It really is in great shape minus the fenders. Still has the factory seat which shocks me and it is in really good shape. Can't seem to get her to fire though so may be packin up stator for a visit to Jeswinehart! As much as I would like to keep her, probably going to part with her to my local Kawi fanatic Zach! Best part of this deal is going to be the 85 R and the TRX R that will soon be in my stable. Stud has already called dibs on it when I land it. LOL
