Ditchmud,Rich ,got in touch with me soon after Trikefest that he knew of a family in need,and that Regina,3queen,would be in touch as she knew the details. This families Daddy was at TF last year ,and they had the cash saved up again to come this year. Instead the money was used to bury their little 3 year old girl. Hippyplz,Ken, knows the family and he and his wife were there at the hospital when the little girl passed on. Left behind are Mom,Dad and a 7 YO little fella. It has been asked that we see what we can do on raising a trust fund for him, the 7 yo Brother. He is understandably having one heck of a time trying to grasp why his Sister got sick and died. If anyone needs to know the Dads user name, I think Hippyplz will tell you. Again, he was at TF last year ,so a lot of you probably know him. He doesn't post much ,but LOVES this place. So, Ladies and Gents, what can a few of us 3 Wheeler nuts do for this little guy ? Thank you up front for the astronomical generosity I know I'm going to witness. Again,as always. Savings bonds are no longer available. Not U.S savings bonds anyway. The Governments broke and can no longer afford to invest in the country's future. Sorry, not trying to jack the thread but my daughter has 3k worth now that are mature and could be worth 12k by the time she is 23 I wonder now if they will even cash them in at the purchase price.

From the last time I went to purchase one. Edit. I stand corrected They don't offer paper bonds anymore. Thank you to the bank teller for the misinformation. My own bank and another bank simply told me that they don't offer bonds anymore because the treasury stopped selling them.
