View Full Version : ATC200x Bottom End Stainless Steel Socket Head Cap Screw Kits-- Now on 3WW Shop
EDIT: To my knowledge, these kits will fit any 200 (s/x/m) or 185 (s) Motor, excluding the 86-87 200x. I believe that the bottom ends on these motors are the same or very similar. This kit does include the screws for a kick started engine, NOT a pullstarted one. If your model is a pull start, you will have some extra screws because the kickstarter uses more. If someone can correct me if I am wrong in this, please do because I do not want people to order the wrong kit!
Hey guys I'm just taking a count to see if it's worth it to package up 200x socket head cap screw stainless steel engine case kits. I know they are on eBay, but this kit that im making would be cheaper. Right now im thinking that it would be $30 or less, not including shipping. On eBay, they are $33 and up without shipping, so thats a savings.
The kit would include:
ALL ARE STAINLESS STEEL
-12 of 6-25mm Socket head cap screws (6 for left side case and 6 for right side case)
-11 of 6-50mm SHCS (10 for holding inner cases together, 1 for right side case)
-1 of 6-20mm SHCS (right side case)
-2 of 6-35mm SHCS (right side case)
-3 of 6-80mm SHCS (right side case)
-1 of 6-90mm SHCS (right side case)
I just registered for a 3ww shop account, hasnt been approved by an admin yet, because i have other things to sell as well

I would think about that, and u think about this, I have 6 200x, what can u offer or do on 4 sets
sorry it took so long to reply i had to do all the math over again to good find a price per kit. I have to make a profit here too, so ive decided that single or double order kits would be $31 each, while buying more than 3 makes them $29
4 kits would be $116 dollars, with shipping it would be around $121-122 (if you really want to pick them up, i'm 4.5 hours from you :D)

I may be interested in a bolt kit for my 200X. Would you ship to Canada?

If you pay the extra shipping charges i'm willing to send it anywhere. on USPS's website a small flat rate box from US to canada is $20 (CORRECTION $10) usd. It's up to you, but im willing on my end. If I can get 5 for-sure buyers, i'll place an order.
Oh forgot to mention that the kit will come with a parts microfiche for the right side, left side, and inner cases

With all due respect, this is a 3$ savings? or am I reading this wrong?
:cry:You have a good point, and yes, it is not very much of a savings and i wish it was more, but the ebay people have them priced right, im just cutting down a bit more. . i can get them cheap, but i have to make money on this too. If i told everyone how much i get each kit for, they would say "well why wont you sell it too me at that lower price" its because i'm not going to sell them with a 0% up-charge and get 0 profit. now, if i bought bolts in packs of 200 for less $$ per bolt instead or buying in say 25-50 piece packs, i could make them cheaper, but im not willing to invest that much money to buy 200+ packs of every bolt

Don't forget that Honda may have a 28mm long bolt and EBAY or other suppliers give you 25mm which is an issue........

The only odd bolt on the whole engine that I saw (double checked before posting this) was a 116mm bolt (added picture below) that went into the head. Most bottom end bolts are 25 (12 of them) or 50 mm (11 of them). Any bolt over 35mm comes partially threaded, exactly like OEM
#10 in the diagram is a 6x116mm bolt. You cannot buy it anymore, as it is discontinued. My kit is for the bottom end, so it wouldnt include this anyways

The difference though... Ebay kits will do a whole motor with spares left over. You want to charge almost as much as an ebay kit for just the bottom end? That sounds like no savings to me. Just saying.
If they were hex head... I might be interested.

thats a fact ^
Das, I agree. I cant agrue with that. The fact of the matter is that I cant beat people on Ebay that buy parts in such bulk that they can lower the price of their kits that low.
Though I didn't see where they have parts left over. I think they may have a typo in their ad as well. in one that is $35.78, they say that there are 17 head/intake bolts. I went through the parts list three times and only came up with 7 bolts, one of which is a 6x116mm, which I would think they would replace with a 6x115.
Yamada, I have a shipping correction. I had said that shipping outside of the US was $20. Actually I had used the wrong calculator from USPS and it would actually be $11. Also, any packages delivered inside the USA is $5 shipping.

A couple of the kits I've bought came with several extras. I didn't buy from eBay though. I think it was Z1 Enterprises.
Like I said though. I'd probably pick up one or two off ya when I get going on projects. I don't have a problem spending a couple bucks to support a fellow member.
Update
My 3ww shop account was approved yesterday, I now have the bolts listed there. The total price is $35 because of shipping.
