Can you guys tell what some of this stuff is worth? 81-82 R axle, fiberglass 200x fenders, 82 R mugen silencer, also a 200x axle with wheel spacers.

The Mugen silencer is cool, but without the rest of the top end and pipe, it is probably only worth whatever someone will pay. The R fenders are desirable, but again, only worth what someone will pay. The DG heads have brought anywhere from $175-$350 from what I have seen. I have no idea on the 200x axle.

I didn't know what the fenders went to. I was told they were 200x fenders, are you saying they are for 250rs?

axles are rusted bad, the 250R does not look adjustable like my durablue is. id say $150 an axle in that shape either one. fender look nice but I'm not standing there in person.

if fenders are ok they are worth $125 but cracked or broken or repaired not much. Now the mugen silencer I think that is something do some research on it. I have never seen mugen silencer if it is a mugen i think close to $200

Sorry I typed that in a hurry and meant X fenders.

Ok, I thought the perk of a fiberglass fender is being repairable. Why would it matter if it had been repaired lol. One with seat is fine, the other has a small crack.

check the pipe that the mugen silencer is mounted to. it may looks stock, but the mugen pipes had mounts for both heat shields, and had a bigger and longer "cone" before the stinger. if you have the pipe and silencer, you're much better off
one of those DG heads is for a CR250 (the one with the fin that looks cut off). that head is worth more than the 250R ATC head because theres more of a following for the vintage mx bikes that it will fit than there is for the air R's.
i agree with the axle prices $150 would be tops in that condition though
that seat cover on the 82R is made by CEET
what are you lookin to do with all that stuff?

It's not that hard to get axles sand blasted and chromed or re-zinc plated for cheap alternative. Looks like that's what I'm gonna do. Im gonna keep them unless they go for a small fortune after that. I think I also have a cal fab for 1st gen R, it doesn't have decals but its solid aluminum and +2. It's in my parents storage so I don't have it on hand, but first chance, I'll post pics. I'm kinda surprised with such a barren wasteland for aftermarket R and X parts, I assumed these parts would bring more $. It's not like anyone is about to be placing their orders for these parts new from a company this week.
Manbearpig: I have these parts for a long time, 2005 to be exact, and with almost all brim and minnow bites, it looks like a good chance ill keep this stuff for myself to use. Thanks on the info!

I would be interested in one of the 200x axles and the 250r calfab. Prices on any of it?

These parts are on project trikes, except the gold heads and swinger. If anyone wants the parts they will need to pay up for them. I'm not planning on giving this hard to get stuff away. Today most likely isn't anyone's lucky day.

if you feel that way now, probably best to tuck that stuff away for another almost decade. id hate to hear what you'll be asking then

Today most likely isn't anyone's lucky day.Put a price on them or put it all on ebay and see what the market brings. You've already alluded to the fact you think you are sitting on a gold mine and have probably scared away anyone who was remotely interested. Not to mention this isn't the classified section.

I don't know if your post was directed at me, but I'm not looking to have a "lucky day" im looking to buy the stated parts and have the cash available. I will say I am not paying top dollar for a rusty axle unless it is fully refinished. Let me know if you come up with a price.

Parts are only worth what people are willing to pay for them, you have to remember that lots of members on here have been collecting/trading in these vintage ATV parts for a LONG time and have a pretty good idea of exactly what the MARKET value is. You asked and question with this post and got what I would say was a pretty fair answer.

Really Id like to keep the stuff, so selling for the "going" price is cutting off my own foot, "since I still want the parts", do you understand my point? It's not that my parts are made of gold, but they have more value to me to keep than the going prices. Some people's fuel tanks on their SUVs hold easily over 100$ in fuel, and to tell me the going price of the fenders is $125, IMO is a joke. I'm entitled to that opinion, and people can look elsewhere for the parts. This wasn't a sale thread in the first place. I made a post and my inbox fills up with questions to me about selling. Never once did I say "hey guys this stuff is for sale!" I basically said "IF" anyone is gonna buy it something, they will need to pay up- meaning I still want this stuff cuz the going prices aren't appealing to me.

if you really wanted to keep the stuff, you wouldnt have inquired about their $$ value. i want to keep my Nicholson 250R, and i am not going around asking what its worth because to me its priceless, and the reality of what its worth in $$ value will probably dissapoint. sounds like your parts are the same to you. if you've collected or inherited these parts, hang on to them for a while and USE them. i cant tell you how many parts ive sold that a week, month, 6 months later, i could have used.
i hope that one day we all get to see build threads started by you showcasing those neat parts.

Not here to argue but your wrong, all you guys are more educated on these prices of parts, and anything (thats not your kids ofcourse)has a price, I'd bet if someone offered you 100k for it,you'd be crazy if you didnt sell it. I was curious about the estimated value thinking if its worth enough then ill think about getting rid of it, but not the case. I have a few other projects in front of these. If it was "for sale" with every intention of selling,it would have been posted in classifieds period. I do know how to use a forum board.

Wow.... hold on to those parts,,,, in ten years they will still be only worth about what you were quoted.... and if you refinish it it will only be worth that much more. For god sake its a 200x axle. ** your sadly mistaken if you thought someone was going to jump out of tje bushes and offer you a thousand bucks for that rusty heap,,,,

I guess thats one of the reasons I got back into Trikes is because it is affordable to ride, fix and restore these time machines.
