Here is my story. I start riding my 200x for a while and the front brakes will get tighter and tighter all on their own and make the bike stop if I don't get a wrench out and open the bleeder. Then it's good for a while and it will start doing it again so I rebuilt the master cylinder and caliper, new pads and new brake line.
The bike still does the same thing after the rebuild, any help.....
Thanks

Its called hydro locking . The vent hole in the master cylinder is clogged . If you remove the reservoir and the rubber cup their are 2 little holes in the aluminum case one larger one lets the fluid into the piston and the other very tiny and easy to miss is like a vent so it wont hydro lock up but it basically releases the fluid pressure after its compressed .
I come across this allot .

^^ Agreed as always. Also ,you cleaned and greased your slider pins when you rebuilt your caliper right? These will also give you a hanging caliper. But you def need to clean your holes.

Got it open now. Center hole or one to the left looking from front of bike? Or what is the hole between the screw holes?
And yes the the cleaning and greasing the pins.

After you removed the round rubber plug their are 2 little holes were the piston slides by . The smaller of the 2 holes is clogged . its very tiny and easy to miss . Best to take the master cylinder apart and clean it up good . I run a small torch tip cleaning tool threw both holes when rebuilding one .

Ok I will take it all the way apart tomorrow. I took everything apart but the cylinder ran some new fluid through it and into a rag and also hit everything with the air compressor. Bleed the cylinder and wow what a difference..... The brake handle actually moves more than a quarter of an inch.
All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. And I owe you a beer :beer
