Its all spiderwebbed and brittle. Is it from weather/sun?

Yup my 200x was doing that before I sold it. Not as bad as yours but working towards it. Yup caused by sun and weather. No fun.

That's what happens when the solvents leech out of plastic over time.

Every time
I've pressure washed one like that the surface has chipped off and it gets an orange peel texture I've had to sand down and polish or paint those.

The sun is not a friend of plastic. Eventually those plastics turn to a dusty white if left in the sun

Which is why I like night riding!

It just sucks that ill have to replace them soon. The front fender is the only one that actually cracked so far. The rear has a slight one where the rack goes through. It's all original except the rear tires so it'll suck when I have to start replacing all this old stuff.

You could sand them down and use some plastic renew or spray paint on them I've saved fenders in worse shape.

That will happen with the plastics over time. The sun dries them out and then they spiderweb/dryout and crack and become very brittle. One of the ways to prevent this or help slow it down is to use a good wax/polish to keep them moist. Also helps whatever dirt/mud slide right off when you wash your machine. I have used Collinite #845 on my Maiers and they still look brand new minus the deep scuffs and believe me i ride my bike and have no problem caking the mud on. Just preventative maint :)
