The old swingarm on my 84 200x was tight as hell and hard to remove from the frame. Naturally, the spare swingarm I am installing with new bearings and seals is equally hard to put back in. Without the seals, it installs easily with clearance. After I put the seals on, its next to impossible. I have loosened the one bolt that passes through the motor, in hopes it would allow the frame to spread, but no luck.
Any suggestions?

Seals? You mean when you try to install it with the dust caps on the ends of the swingarm you can't push it into place? Have you tried to lube the frame so it will slide better? How tight are you.....meaning, what is the measurement outside to outside of both dust caps vs. the inside to inside measurement of the frame? I have done this on a lot of 1st gen 200x's and never heard of this problem. Wondering if somehow your frame is tweaked in that area.

^ If that doesn't work, I have use the jack from my truck to spread frames. Toyota has a nice lightweight hand jack :D

Got it in. Took a 1" diameter bar and drilled a 1/2" hole in the end. Slipped in a 1/2" fine thread bolt and nut and used that to slightly spread the frame while I slipped it in place. The old one was majorly tight to get out. The frame must be pinching it.
