I have been working about 6 months on my 84 250r. I decided to tear it down over the winter and powdercoat a few items and try to clean it up a bit. One thing lead to another and it turned out to be much more of a project than I originaly intended. But I happy with the results. I thought I would share it with you all. I dont see enough 2nd gen R's on here.

I still need the hangers that hook on to the plastic that the tool box mounts too if anyone has a set? My gas tank needs work and I'm planning on replacing the 34mm PJ with a 38PWK.

Wow, where did you get that Bassani--it looks new? Is that a new badge riveted to the silencer?

Looking good!!! I really like the look of the 2nd gen R's. My son has a couple that he rebuilt. You're right, not too many on here these days.

Yes, I found the badge on there website. I think this badge is larger than what came with it, when it was new. I wanted a
nice clean look so I riveted to it.

The swingarm is a gold powder that I found on eBay.

Polishing the bottom end took some time but isn't really too difficult. I tried not to get to carried away with the polishing
because I plan to still ride it
