I am in the market for a replacement front tire for my 85R and I wanted to get some input on what my fellow board members run on their pingers and why they chose them :beer
Post them up!

Im running some Duro 22" tire on my xowner rim. I like it so far, didnt do to terrible in the dunes during the Invasion either. handles great in my opinion and doesnt look as funky as the stock and other fronts that most 2 strokers run around with

Asking what tri z's are running compared to the other two is kinda useless since they use a 12" wheel and the aftermarket 10" wheels won't fit them.Very few 12" tires are available in 11" or 10"

best way to put 10 inch wheel on a triz is with 86 triz triples 85-6 250r forks hub and one of my wheels. you keep the Z headlight and guard and get the 10 inch wheel

I really hate the look of the kenda max front. Supposedly amazing for what it is needed to do but for some reason I have always hated the look of it.
Carlisle trail wolfs r a really good alternative and look really good in my opinion.

when i picked up my z it had a sand tire on it.. but i've got to say it's works better then the knobby i had on my 200x, i've rode on dirt grass sand road gravel mud and i've had no issues at all, the knobby on my 200x even deflated a bit for better traction would slide on cement and mud.

Yeah for some reason those Kendra tires look strange to me as well. Something about that tread haha I may switch to a 22 on my R...

I for some reason like the looks of the Front Max tire. Have one on my big bore and it has terrific steering traction compared to OEM or the Dunlop OEM equivalent I was previously running....
If sticking with the 11" rim, you will find you are VERY limited in tire selection, especially for gravel/general purpose as opposed to sand...
