I ride a 84 Honda 200x and love it. I ran across this old delapidated 3 wheeler at my buddies dads house and brouht it home. I can't seem to identify it. Can anybody identify it by the VIN or something? I think it is a suzuki due to it is yellow. It is on the small size. Looks like a 90 or 110. Funny thing is that it has a reverse lever on it. Didn't know any 3 wheelers had reverse. I may be able to get a pic of it. I did get it running but now I need some parts.

Sounds like a Yamaha 175 or under. Is it two or four stroke and does it have rear suspension?

Sounds like a Yamaha 200 or 225 reverse model.....

It is a four stroke. It looks like the alt 125 now that I found all the pics. Is there a way to find out by the VIN? No suspension front or rear.

give the vin to the guys at the parts counter at the nearest dealership. maybe they'll know. i thought suzuki trikes were all orange. i would definitely think it's a yamaha if the plastic is yellow.

Get the vin number and post it here. We will see if we can trace it down.

I am willing to bet it is a early model alt125 though.

Isn't an ALT125 a 2-stroke though??

Nope, it is a 4 stroke. Suzuki never made a production 2 stroke 3 wheeler. ;)

Definately an alt125! There are also alot of trikes out there with reverse chopper dad, mostly the workhorses with the exception of the sx and dr.

Thanks to everybody that replied. Now I know it is a 1983 Suzuki ALT 125. Next question. Is it worth putting the money into this to make it a rider? Engine runs, but there is quite a bit of stuff wron with it.

Hey chopper, where at in Toledo are you? I live in the west end. Where do you ride your 200x? I take mine out to the Maumee state forest out by oak openings. It would be sweet to actually see some other trikes out there. I only ever see dirt bikes and quads.

I just posted to you on the other question. I am in Point Place. We should get together and ride sometime. I ride up by Dundee at a freinds house, DUX M/C club in Lambertville. I have been wanting to get out to the forest but haven't got the sticker yet. We also ride the streets and the frozen river in the winter when the snow flys. It is great riding on the ice. E-mail me your number and I will email you mine and we can get together and ride.

If you need parts let me know. I have some parts for them. Heck you could even bring it down and we could repair it over a 12 or 24pack. ;) I say this because your not that far away. 45822 is my Zip code.

Yeah Maybe! You have to admit that they are not TRUE work horses, but they certainly have the capability!

Anybody have a used repair manual for a 83 ALT 125? If so and you want to sell it let me know.

Well I ordered the carb kit and front wheel bearings today. Now the work starts. I also put a descent front tire on so it will hold air. I still can't beleive how hard the front axle came out of the front bearings. It was rusted in there so bad it took a 20 ton press to get it out.
