Does anybody know of a company that will replate my oem hardware (nuts, bolts, collars, small stuff etc.)? Everybody i call has a $2-$300 minimum and im just looking to get a few pounds of hardware redone.
The problem is everybody i call deals with industrial or aerospace companies, not guys off the street, so they dont really bother with small batches? Somebody must have had hardware redone???

Also is oem stuff zinc or cadmium coated? Any info would be great!
Thanks

I'm having the same headache here in Rochester NY. Looking for a place to do small stuff and my axle.

I think buster brown used a place in Elyria, OH. If you search his threads, you should be able to find it.

Edit, I found the thread:

I got really lucky and found a company 5 miles from me that does small batches at $70 minimum charge. It truely makes the build stand out IMO.

Whats the deal on this guy? I'd like to get some Scrambler floor boards done. Well I think they might actually be galvanized, I wonder if anyone or he does that? Or I could go with white plating or maybe even paint.

Aero Metals in Fenton. Give them a call and see if that is something they could do. I've only taken nuts and bolts to them.

Awesome, only a few miles out of my way home from work. I guess I'll bring them as many floor boards as they can cover for the $70 minimum. lol. Thanks.

Just looking at the website this place seems awesome. http://aerometalfinishing.com/
