84 200x swingarm bearing parts problem

I am replacing the swingarm bearings on my 84 200x. The previous owner has given me the seals, thrust bushings and needle roller bearings to do the job. Finally got around to pulling the old swingarm off and I discover that it is completely different than expected or as shown in the manual. Instead of having roller bearings, it has one piece bushings that act as both the thrust bushings and pivot bearing (non roller).

Problem is, while the old worn bushings fit the bearing spacer (tube), the new roller bearings have far too large an inside diameter for the bearing spacer tube that they should fit over.

What kind of mismatch of old parts did I take out with the non-roller pivot bushing and spacer? What do I need to make this fit? It seems to me the problem is with the bearing spacer having an OD that is too small for the roller bearings that should go on an 84.

Edit: What's the quality of the kits on ebay for around $40 that include the spacer with the bearings?

The eBay kits are fine. I used them on my 200X.

I installed the All Balls bearings and spacers (250R swinger) in my project bike and they work perfect. The spacers are the same outside diameter as the 200x and everything went together nice and smooth. Bought them off of Ebay, too.

Anyone run across a 200x with metal bushings instead of roller bearings? Was that OEM in some early years? I could see a bronze bushing holding up really well and not rusting from water crossings.

My 86 250r swingarm was so bad I had to take a sledge hammer to get the bolt out, needless to say it wasn't fun. I looked at the bushing idea but went for the bearing option. The e-bay kits have always been good for me. I take the bolt out every year or two and grease it up, no issues so far. I installed a grease nipple on the main bearing carrier as well. Not sure if I could put one on the front needle bearing area as well, it's kind of tight up there...
