Polished Thumb Throttle for the Z

I would like to update the thumb throttle on my Z to a polished one like on the Banshee or YFZ. Will the cable on an 86 hook up and work well with either or some other polished throttle? I considered polishing my oem but I don't have the tools or really the know-how to do it right. I want to do the same with the brake master. I saw one for a XJ750 motorcycle but wasn't sure if it would fit.

I personally love my aftermarket thumb throttle, it's similar to the one you posted about but it's got carbon fiber wrapping g . The longer thumb lever makes riding for more than 30 minutes much more comfortable. The cable will fit that, I'm not positive about the brake lever but the lines and banjo bolts should all be the same metric 8 or 10mm bolt.
