this was taken from Black Sheep's post over on airfoolers

In case you guys did not know, 3 wheeler racing has started to take off in So Cal. They held their first race last month as it was a big success with almost 20 trikes showing up for practice and 16 of them making the race. It was such a big success that they have added 3 wheeleres to more events.

Which leads up to there next Race on MAY 19. This event will help the Wounded Warriors Fund. As a result the Organizer Frank ? had a few of the racers join the story and they were interviewed as well.

Who represented us trike guys...hold on to your helmets...Mike Dunn...aka...Mymint87...aka...mysuperstar87...way to represent triker

Your powers of deduction are amazing. For it is member of this fine forum such as this gentleman who make this place the best trike site on the net. Without guys like this, all kinds of random facts that nobody needs pointed out to them would go unmentioned, and hardly anyone would ever shake their head. We salute you!

I wondered if I was the only one that noticed!

As if one of these members wasn't enough, we have discovered his backup. How can anyone expect just one fine member to call out such an obscure and highly overlooked random fact that nobody gives a rat's arse about? This is clearly an example of how our members need to back each other up on these kinds of big, hard-hitting issues.

I have an 82 XL500R and I will say this- It does leave a bit to be desired in the power department. It doesn't like to rev and it's far from fast. I love it though. I didn't buy it to go fast. I don't know how that engine would do in a trike chassis though, mine's just the original bike.

In all seriousness, kudos to Minty! As The Stud said, you're very well spoken and that trike is the cat's ass! Hats off to you!

chain has been reinstalled with the addition of an old school half link, so you all can stop losing sleep about the chain

ask Mr. Clean how well an XL motor does in a trike frame. his Nicholson 500 has an XL500 motor instead of the traditional XR500. i have ridden minty's trike and can back up the fact that its truly an animal, but it is nowhere as fast as my own Nicholson 500 :lock:
