it goes 90 degrees back through the motor and the swing arm.. crank case vent.... I run mine out and down between the stator and sprocket .. zip tie it to frame ..
put black rtv on them stator wires right there.. water will git in there!

obviously thats a 86 ... this is 85 down the right through the loom with the in... out overflow i run to the rear .. so I dont get sprayed with hot coolant,, your tank vent comes up the left side and gets tucked in the rads between the frame and rad.. you gotta keep that in hose away from the pipe.. I run them both the same ..85/86 turn your head left on the last pic..

cheers raffia, so ive got the hoses the wrong way around then. i should have the top hose from the coolant bottle as the overflow.
the bottom hose goes up to the rad? sorry if im being daft but i really dont know!

Had a look this morning and I didn't want to ruin the finish but you might be right. Must have been replaced at some point.
Or it's a super rare 85.51... Prototype only one of its kind.
I'm going with the second theory! ;)

Only Raffa knows this stuff. I had no idea. I gotta go look at my 86 motors and check em. Thats pretty cool.

and you can also run a 250r chain saver if you cut the top off and re drill some holes...:)
